Oversized range wasting resolution
Accuracy is quoted as a percentage of full scale, so a 0-600 bar sensor on a 0-10 bar application throws away most of its usable resolution. Place normal working pressure in the middle third of the range.
Output mismatched to the controller
A 0-10V sensor on a 4-20mA input — or an unamplified mV sensor feeding a controller that expects a standard signal — produces readings nobody can trust. Confirm the controller input before the output is finalised.
